About Me
My name is Egor, I am 18.
I study at the Faculty of Pediatrics, Sechenov University.
In my family there are many younger children — they have always been around, which is why pediatrics feels like a natural direction.
Since 2022 I have been running kugno.ru.
The site started as a portfolio for admission to the medical-track class at School No. 2107, but gradually grew into something larger. Its main feature is primary sources: my own correspondence with ministries, direct requests to foreign universities, official responses, and analysis written on that basis.
Right now (2026) I am drawn to chemistry at its intersection with medicine — chemotherapy, synthesis of individualized drugs, pharmaceutical regulation.
Everything I publish, I publish because I find it worth doing. If it helps someone else — all the better.
I. Education
Through Grade 7 — School No. 1208, English-language school Six years of language-intensive study. The outcome: a B2 level I now use for correspondence with foreign universities, technical texts, and medical content in the original.
Grade 8 — School No. 1501, chemistry-track class A deliberate move. Olympiad-level chemistry. By the end of that year it was clear that the natural sciences would stay.
Extracurricular — DTDiM Gaidar (microbiology); DNTTM (biology, «What is Science») Laboratory microbiology and one of Moscow’s most demanding extracurricular biology programs — by personal choice, not by school schedule.
Grades 9–11 — School No. 2107, medical-track class Specialized medical curriculum. Field visits to the First Med morgue, the RUDN gynecology department, lectures at RSMU. I ran for Minister of Science in the student government, was elected Deputy, and organized school events. First serious research projects.
2025 — present — Sechenov First MSMU, Faculty of Pediatrics One of Russia’s leading medical universities. Year 1.

Direct correspondence with universities
Over 200 letters in English to medical faculties and ministries of education worldwide. Official responses are published on the site.
Each country gets its own page: admission requirements, tuition costs, conditions for Russian citizens.
Countries covered: Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Slovenia, Portugal, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Japan.

A physician’s career around the world
For each country: how to gain admission, how to get a Russian diploma recognized, real salaries, living costs, career path.
Two articles per country.

04. Contract Medical Training in Russia — 100+ regional articles
The main project
Probably Russia’s most detailed public resource on contract training for physicians. Requests sent to Ministries of Health in 85+ regions, with roughly 70 official responses received.
Real salaries, housing conditions, settling-in bonuses (подъёмные), contract risks, comparisons across 11 federal districts.
05. Regulatory Affairs — a career in healthcare regulation (18 articles so far)
Active project · 2026
Drug registration at the FDA, EMA, and EAEU; regulatory history from 1918; career paths for regulatory affairs specialists; a glossary of 130+ terms.
Also: AI medical device registration, cosmetics and dietary supplement labeling, eCTD 4.0, veterinary drugs in the EAEU.
III. School Research Projects
All three projects are published in full on kugno.ru — with drafts, process notes, and interim findings. I am particularly proud of the introductory guide to research projects for high school students.
Mummification, Cryonics, Transplantology (individual project, competition finalist)
Three approaches to preserving life — from Egyptian embalmers to cryoprotectants and transplant immunology.
Finalist at a Moscow competition. Published in 10 parts on kugno.ru.
Microbiological Safety in the Food Industry (group project, team lead)
Led a team of two: brainstorming, task distribution, KiberLeninka research, synthesis of results.
Three parts, from problem statement to conclusions. Fully published on kugno.ru.
Defoamers for Drilling Fluids (team project, Moscow Pre-Professional Olympiad)
A chemistry case: PDMS defoamers, composition calculations, process diagram, practical experiments with test tubes.
